Is it legal to buy wholesale THCa flower online?
Yes, it is legal to buy our wholesale THCa hemp flower. The 2018 Farm Bill states that any hemp product containing less than .3% Delta-9 THC is legal to sell and purchase in the United States. However, the Farm Bill also allows for local governments to regulate the sale of hemp products.
While THCa is legal on a federal level, it’s always best to check your local laws prior to purchase. Some states do prohibit the sale of hemp products all together.
Does THCa turn into Delta 9 when smoked?
Yes, THCa does turn into Delta 9 when smoked. Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol is the main psychoactive component of marijuana. It is often simply referred to as THC, though it isn’t the only variant of the THC compound found in marijuana plants.
When you heat THCa, it undergoes a process known as decarboxylation. Heat removes the acidic components of THCa thus, converting it into the THC Delta 9 compound. This can be achieved through smoking plant material or heating the plant matter at a low temperature. The latter method is often used for making tinctures and edibles.
Does THCa Get You High?
THCa will most certainly get you high, but as previously mentioned, it needs to be converted into Delta 9 with heat for psychoactive effects. In it’s current state, it will not get you high. That’s why we are able to legally sell THCa flower and concentrates. What you do with our products once you receive them, is entirely up to you.
