Here is a simple scale for THCA flower. These are general benchmarks across the market, not promises for any one batch:

What is a good THCA percentage?
A good THCA percentage depends on you. If you are new or only smoke now and then, flower in the high teens is plenty. If you smoke daily, you may prefer the 20s. Stronger isn’t always better. Flavor, terpenes and the way a strain feels matter as much as the number, and a 22% strain you love can beat a 28% strain you don’t.
What is a high THC percentage, and how does it compare to THCA?
Dispensary labels usually show “total THC”. Hemp lab reports show THCA and delta-9 THC separately. To compare them, convert THCA to total THC with this formula:
Total THC = (THCA % × 0.877) + delta-9 THC %
A flower at 25% THCA and 0.2% delta-9 THC works out to about 22.1% total THC. So a 25% THCA hemp flower is in the same range as a dispensary strain labeled 22% THC.
